Intensive Spanish Language Courses

Contents

Grammatical, functional, lexical and sociocultural contents are taught.

In order to work on these contents, they are integrated in the classes:

  • Communicative competences: linguistic, discursive, strategic and sociolinguistic.
  • Programs with a communicative and student-centered approach.
  • Comprehension, expression and oral and written interaction tasks.

Schedule

Monday to Friday.

Levels A1/A2: from 16:00 to 18:00 h.

Levels B1/B2: from 18:00 to 20:00 h. 

Level Test

Before the beginning of each course, students take a test (outside of school hours), which is used to place them in their corresponding language level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Places

Small groups.

Places are limited.

Enrolment

Tuition fee: 275 €.

Includes tuition, class materials (except textbook), exam fees and certificates of achievement (for students who have attended at least 85% of the classes and passed the relevant tests).

Discounts

Erasmus

Erasmus students of the University of Zaragoza (except Erasmus internships) can benefit from a discount of: 92 € in a single course, after due accreditation.

Philosophy and Letters

In addition, Erasmus students of Philosophy and Letters will have an additional discount of 40 €.

Red Cross

Students with refugee status assisted by the Spanish Red Cross or by non-governmental organizations will have a 33.3% discount on the tuition fee (agreement of the Government Team of the University of Zaragoza, June 3, 2025).

Credits

Credit equivalence: 2.5 ECTS

These courses have 1.5 ECTS recognized by the University of Zaragoza (for foreign students and Erasmus).

  • May 04 - June 02, 2026

Intensive morning courses: A2 level and above (4 hours per day):

  • May 25 - June 08, 2026
  • June 09 - June 23, 2026
  • June 24 - July 08, 2026

Registration deadline: 3 days before the course start date.

 

Specific intensive courses for Erasmus students 2025-2026

60 hours: 42 classroom hours and 18 non-classroom hours.

Intensive afternoon courses (2 hours per day):

 

  • 15 September - 26 November 2025
  1. Level A1: Mondays and Wednesdays from 15:45  to 17:45 h.
  2. Level A2: Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:00 h.
  • 16 September - 27 November 2025
  1. Level B1: Tuesdays and Thursdays  from  15:45  to 17:45 h.
  2. Level B2: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:00 h.

 

  • 12 January - 18 March 2026
  1. Level A1: Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
  2. Level A2: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
     
  • 13 January - 26 March 2026
     
  1. Level B1: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
     
  2. Level B2: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Intensive Conversation Courses

40 hours: 30 classroom and 10 non classroom hours.

Tentative dates: 

  • October 14 - November 11, 2024
  • March 10 - April 07, 2025

  • Schedule: to be agreed by the teacher with the group of students.
  • Credits: 1 ECTS by the University of Zaragoza (for foreign students and Erasmus).
  • Tuition fee: 190 €.

Erasmus

Erasmus students of the University of Zaragoza (except Erasmus interns) can benefit from a discount of: 63 € in a single course, after due accreditation.

Includes exam fees and certificates of achievement (for students who have attended at least 85% of the classes and passed the relevant tests).

Important note: Students should not make any payment before receiving confirmation of their admission to the course.
