General presentation

Our courses are run in Zaragoza during the school year, while in summer courses are held in Jaca (Huesca), a well-known touristic city in the Pyrenees.

The University of Zaragoza has been pioneer in teaching Spanish to foreign students since 1927. It has agreements with a number of public and private official institutions in Spain and around the world (The Cervantes Institute, the Education Office in a number of Spanish Embassies, Aragon Regional Government, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport). We are also the Oficial Examination Center for the Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Languaje (DELE). 

The University of Zaragoza enjoys wordwide recognition, as proved by the high number of foreign students who attend the University's  various cooperation programmes (Socrates-Erasmus, Tempus, ALPA, Asia-Link, Leonardo, etc.). Zaragoza University Courses in Spanish Language are fully integrated into these programmes. In addition, specific courses for foreign universities can be organized, should they be required.
