Spanish for tourism

Taught from level B1 and above

Schedule: mornings or afternoons.

 

General description of the course

In this course students will be able to progress in their knowledge of Spanish through the development of skills to develop in a professional context related to the specific field of tourism (hospitality, travel agencies, leisure, etc.). The course combines learning activities that enhance linguistic skills and exercise the student's communicative competence with visits to representative tourist and hospitality venues in the Autonomous Community. It is aimed at professionals or students of Tourism, the hotel and catering industry, etc.

 

Objectives

  • To become familiar with the management of a travel agency, a hotel or a restaurant.
  • Critically evaluate a tourist package and propose improvements and alternatives.
  • Plan a tourist route through the city.
  • Inform and resolve doubts or complaints orally or in writing.
  • Know the tourism fairs in Spain.
