If you travel by car from your country you will be able to take full advantage of your stay in Jaca, with the opportunity of visiting lovely, quaint villages, impressive monuments and breathtaking landscapes very near the city.

If you would rather use public transportation, you can travel from Zaragoza to Jaca. The bus departs directly from the train station “Zaragoza-Delicias”. The trip from Zaragoza to Jaca takes approximately two hours (you can consult timetables in Alosa's website). The station is in the city centre of Jaca, a ten-minute walk from the University Hall of Residence (C/ Universidad, 3). To get to Zaragoza, there are various options:

  • Zaragoza airport receives flights from Brussels, Bucarest, London, Milan and Paris. You can consult additional information on the following links.
  • Madrid and Barcelona are connected to Zaragoza-Delicias station by many high-speed trains (AVE) throughout the day. The journey takes just over an hour. You can check Renfe timetables (the Spanish railway operator).

To get to Zaragoza from Madrid-Barajas airport, you can take a taxicab (15 kilometres) or the subway to the Madrid-Atocha railway station, the starting point for AVE trains to Zaragoza. If you use the metro (subway) take Line 8 at the airport and get off at “Nuevos Ministerios”. There, you can take Line 10 to “Tribunal” and then Line 1 to “Atocha-Renfe”.

To get to Zaragoza from Barcelona-El Prat airport, you can take a taxicab (13 kilometres) or Rodalies Renfe to the Barcelona-Sants railway station, the starting point for AVE trains to Zaragoza. If you use Rodalies Renfe, you may take Line R2-Nord (direct service to Barcelona-Sants).
